The Daemon Testament
A wonderful new book by author J.S. Martin

As young children we dream of flying on rocket ships to the moon, we hold no bad judgments of others and we are willing to trust anyone. All this disappears in time, however, for young Phillip it happened all too soon. A horrific event, with a priest, changes his whole life. Then enters Daemon, a young boy that no one else can see, an imaginary friend, a demon, or an angel; not even Phillip knows. Will Daemon help or hinder Phillip in his journey, through life, to find peace? Excerpt: As a kid, I was taught not to question certain things like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and even God. Eventually, though, the authorities revealed that these ideas were all false except for God. Nevertheless, time continued, and along with the slow loss of my smooth colorful skin and thick head of hair was my faith. I no longer trusted people without knowing who they were and where they had been. I replaced my religious faith with logic and confidence. I became a better judge of people, giving no more benefit of the doubt to anyone. A person’s actions defined their character, not the group they associated with. I assumed nothing and required proof for everything.
